WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY CONFERENCE BODAF

We had to do something special for this Wedding Conference, Andrés Parro called us to ask us if we want to host the BODAF CONFERENCE IN BARCELONA, that means that we would encourage 600 people for two days, introduce each speaker and try to keep them animated during the two days. It sounded like a hard mission, but we love challenges, so we agreed.

WE TOOK THE MISSION VERY SERIOUSLY

Our initial ideal was to go dressed as kish, obsolete bride and groom, but THE BOSS did not give us permission hahahaha, he was scared maybe. But the central idea of our show was always to base everything on humor, we feel that THE WEDDING INDUSTRY IS TOO SERIOUS, we have lost humor, so our mission was to laugh at ourselves again. It was a difficult mission, THINK ABOUT IT: 600 wedding photographers and all the jokes turn around making fun of this industry, but we like the risk … so here we go.

WE OPEN THE FIRST DAY WITH THIS VIDEO

And people laughed super hard!, thank goodness we have the gift of still laughing at ourselves and it was incredible to feel that 600 people laugh at the stupid things that you do, here you can hear some laughs.

We had to present many photographers, some friends like Serafin Castillo & Pablo Laguía, the craziest Ken Pak, our friend Jim Pollard we met in Portland at Mystics Seminars and several others like Yves Schepers, Igor Bulgak, Sean & Melanie Flanigan, Phil Chester & Sara Byrne, and the great Christopher Anderson among others!

READY TO GO ON STAGE

The truth is that it is super exciting when you are about to go out on the stage, you know that all those people are there waiting for you to entertain them or at least to keep them happy for two days, so the pressure is huge, lot`s of nerves.

HERE SOME BACKSTAGE MOMENTS

And it is also crazy for speakers too, it is desperate situation to be waiting for your turn in the backstage. I (Moni) had to speak last year, so I know what I’m talking about, you are with a knot in your stomach until you finally come out… at first you shake, then you freeze for seconds that seem like hours, until you launch the first words, the first jokes and feel the relief of the laughter or an applause and you relax and go with the flow, it is that BodaF is a lot of people!, in the end it’s like giving a concert for 600 people.

Some memories that we shot at the backstage and going out to dinner with Sera, Ote and Pablo.

AND HERE THE VIDEO WITH WHICH WE OPENED THE SECOND DAY

SOME MOMENTS OF WHAT WAS BODAF FOR US
