LONDON FASHION SHOOTING

This was January 2018, Monica moved to Berlin to live with me (Pol) just one week before and in our way to USA for a Conference (Mystic Seminars) we made this fashion film.
My friend Edwin ( 5Eleven Magazine) told me about doing this film for Dalal Alhasan. I had some experience before. I´ve made DOP and camera for a fashion film and also a making of.
We arrived to London and went to the studio, I was impressed about how professional was everybody. I didn´t even know the standards. The DOP asked me all the time what I needed… hahaha I just told “everything is Ok, no problem, thanks!!”. Was the first time I realized the lights for a film has nothing to do with the lights for photography, but I needed to pretend I knew everything, hahaha. It is important to give the impression you are good enough!!.
It was an amazing team, super professional: makeup, stylist, dop, gaffer, catering, and of course Dalal. I JUST FELT LIKE A SMALL-TOWN BOY IN THE BIG CITY. I think it is good when you get yourself in trouble from time to time.
THIS IS MY VERY FIRST EXPERIENCE DOING FASHION FILM, I THINK AROUND 2010.
I´ve made DOP and camera but the idea and editing was by Raul Rosillo and Leandro Cano. Leandro Cano is a colleague from Granada, we used to go to party with the same group of people and now he is a true genius in the fashion industry. You should look his work here. He dressed Lady Gaga once!! . Google him!!.
This was around 2013, a making of I´ve made in Berlin as a part of a photo shooting where I met Edwin for the very first time. I don´t even remember how we came together, I guess through some facebook group. It was incredibly hot that day and in Berlin when is so hot you can´t hide because there is no AC anywhere. The video is just some images I took meanwhile Edwin was getting ready.
